We are very excited for Wednesday's puffin meet.  I'm sure you will be happy to see their progress shine as well.  This email will give you more details for the afternoon, but please let us know if you have any other questions.  Grandparents and special friends are encouraged to attend as well.

4:45 Puffin Swimmers arrive and line up 

5:00 Meet starts

*EVERY child will compete in 3 races: noodle, kickboard, swim. There will be coaches in the water to help those who still need it.

*After your child finishes their race, they may get their swedish fish candy from Patrick (just like the big kids) and then get back in their same line to do the next race.

5:30 (when all the races are over)  Meet in the grassy area for trophies!

5:45 Dinner will be available for purchase if you would like to stick around.  

6:00 Swim Team Party starts ... while you are welcome to stay and eat dinner, we do not encourage puffins to plan on swimming after their meet.  There will be lots of big kids playing games and it won't be safe for beginning swimmers.  The little pool will stay open for siblings of swim team children.

~Thank you for a great summer swim season! We hope you all had fun.  We highly encourage you to continue swimming in the winter to maintain and improve newly learned skills.  You can contact Little Fishes, Barron Swim School, or Goldfish Swim for more information.  Those who swim during the winter should be ready to move up to the next group in Summer 2023.
