MAC Dive Team Summer 2025

My name is Beth Nelson, and I will be the new diving coach this summer alongside Oscar Sorkin, who is returning for his second year! The MAC dive program offers a great team environment welcome to all levels of divers. We will work with your child to learn new dives, progress in form and gain confidence on the board. We may spend some time with dryland activities to improve strength and flexibility. We are very excited to work with all your children this summer and have fun while doing it! o11/12 and 13 & over: 8:00-9:00am

o9/10-year-olds 9:00-10:00am

o6 and under: 10:00- 10:30am

o7/8-year-olds: 10:45- 11:30am

Parent Judging Clinic @ Cool Dell June 5th 5:30pm (a second date TBD)

oAll dive parents are encouraged to attend this. This will be a meeting talking about judging the divers at the meets. Judging at the meets is one of the required parent volunteer positions that will need to be filled at each meet.

Dive Meets are on Saturday mornings and typically last about 2-3 hours. See the schedule below (it’s also on the team website). Please RSVP on the team site no later than the Wednesday before each meet; this is necessary to allow the coaches to create a meet roster and a dive sheet for each diver.

Volunteer spots are listed on the team site. Registration time to sign up will be announced soon, please keep an eye out for this communication. Please sign up for at least two volunteer spots as soon as possible. We can’t run the meets without the required volunteer help! An email will be sent out each Friday regarding all information for the dive meets. Again, please don’t hesitate to reach out and let’s have a great season!
