Time to register!
Hi MAC Swim and Dive Team families,
If you can believe it, it is already time to register for MAC Swim and Dive Team 2017! Alyson Schoedel and I will again be the parent representatives for the Swim Team. Nikki Hostnik will be the Dive Team parent representative.
Swim and Dive Team practice will start June 1 (please note that this is a date change) this year and the season will end with the Swim Banquet on July 17.
Like last year, everything will be done online for Swim and Dive Team. This includes registrations, RSVP for meets, volunteer job sign ups, and access to all information. Please visit our Swim and Dive Team site and make sure you bookmark it!!!
We do have some new rules this year; all of which are designed for children's safety or to make the job of the parent rep a bit easier. One of the major rule differences is that the Swim Team will be capped at 25 girls and 25 boys for each age group. This will ensure all the swimmers are safe during practice. As a result of this change, those who participated in the Swim and Dive program last year will be given first opportunity to register. Current family registration will be from March 1 - April 2. If you register by April 2, you are guaranteed a spot on the team. If you do NOT register by April 2, you are NOT guaranteed a spot on the team and will likely NOT have a spot on the team. There will be no exceptions to this policy.
We invite you to browse through the site which already has information regarding registration, practice schedules, new rules and happenings, and our calendar of events. Please note that registration will NOT OPEN UNTIL 8 am on MARCH 1st!!!! You will NOT be able to register prior to this date. On March 1st, there will be a blinking tab that you can click on to start registration. Your password for the site is "welcome," unless you changed it last year.
Signups for volunteer shifts will NOT OPEN until mid-April. This will give everyone time to register before job sign ups begin. More information regarding job sign ups will be sent out at a later date.
